Swindon were looking to extend their unbeaten home record to over 15 months as they welcomed the league leaders to Isambard school, the home side were looking to bounce back at the poor result the previous week. It was the usual trade mark Swindon that tool the game to the visitors, putting them on the back foot right from the start of the game, and within 10 minutes had taken the lead thanks to Tommy Gillingham who converted a cross with a well taken first time shot, giving the keeper no chance, and things were to get even better for Swindon as Tom Wickens got on the score sheet from close range to put the home side 2-0 up mid way through the first half, in defence the Swindon lads were being stretched and GK Gough was pulling off some crucial saves, and Jake Biddle went close with the keeper turning his vicious strike onto the crossbar from close range to keep ISCA in the game and on the stroke of half time ISCA pulled one back with a well worked penalty corner.
The second half saw the visitors and league leaders put Swindon to the sword as they ran in 6 un-answered goals as the hosts chased, and chased the game.
The strong ISCA side smashed Swindon’s home unbeaten record to pieces as the final score saw them run out comfortable 7-2 winners, scoring 3 goals in the last 7 minutes.
This week Swindon travel to Bath Bucs, in a match that Swindon will be hoping to get something out of.
