Two goals from fourteen year old Chloe Lewis helped Swindon maintain their unbeaten league campaign after a 5-0 away win at local rivals Chippenham.
The home side started well and pressurised a nervous Swindon defence but against the run of play, it was Swindon who opened the scoring when a pass from Gemma Scrase was smashed home by a diving Vicky Stokes.
Although the remaining exchanges of the half were equal, Swindon were grateful for a string of outstanding saves from goalkeeper Sarah Newman to keep the score 1-0 at half time.
After regrouping at the interval, Swindon found their form and extended their lead within two minutes of the restart. A precise penalty corner was deflected into the net by Lynsey Wall which turned out to be a tipping point for the game as Swindon took full control.
Swindon's third came five minutes later when strong build up play created an opportunity for Chloe Lewis who's half volley shot smashed into the net. Lewis quickly followed her first goal with an individually crafted second goal. After creating her own chance, she elegantly beat the sprawling goalkeeper with a reverse stick lob to make the score 4-0.
The game ended in final flurry of attacking play from Swindon with Hannah Lewis scoring from a short corner and Chloe Lewis was denied a hat trick when her shot beat the keeper but bounced back off the post.
Man of the Match was Chloe Lewis.
