Swindon returned to winning ways with a comfortable 4-1 away win over Chippenham. The visitors took the lead after 1 minute when Vicky Stokes deflected a penalty corner into the net. Swindon doubled their lead from another penalty corner after a rebounded shot was scrambled over the line by captain Gemma Scrase.
Continual pressure led to Swindon's third goal when teenager Chloe Lewis skilfully collected the ball from Gemma Scrase and calmly slotted the ball into the far corner.
Just before half time, Chippenham opened their account from a direct long pass which was converted after a free run on goal.
The second half was a balanced affair with Chippenham working hard in midfield and up front. After some strong defensive work from Julie Lewis and player of the match Claire Tyas, Swindon scored a final goal when Adrianna Bollousa flicked a penalty corner rebound into the net to finish the match 4-1.
