Swindon Ladies 1st 2 - City of Bath Ladies 1st 2
Swindon earned a valuable point away at City of Bath. Vicky Stokes opened the scoring after Adrianna Boullosa had beaten two players to set up an easy chance for the Swindon captain. Swindon began to falter after scoring and it was Bath who deservedly pulled level from a short corner. Swindon continued to struggle and conceeded a second soft goal just before half time.
The second half started more promising for Swindon who pushed hard to get an equaliser. The goal finally came from Stokes who skillfully deflected a penalty corner into the net. Swindon missed a late opportunity to win the game after Gael Little pulled a close range shot wide in the last seconds of the game.
Swindon host local rivals Cirencester at Isambard School next Saturday.
