Ladies 2's win 4 - 0 against West Wilts 3

half asleep from the journey, Swindon started quietly but soon started putting pressure on West Wilts, The first goal came from a short corner which slipped right led Lou to hit the ball between the keeper and defender to get Swindon to a good start, the second goal game shortly afterwards when ball was quickly moved up the pitch by series of quick passes let to Lou slipping the ball to rabbit who was unmarked in the D and calmly slipped it passed the keeper. Swindon played well as a team with lots a third again starting at the back and with Ellie passing to Nicola on the right of the D who via the post and a defender the ball crossed the line. In the second half Swindon had a few changes however there was period of play when we failed to hold our shape and wilts looked dangerous, however Sarah and Karen held strong with some good tackles and passes around the back. The fourth goal came just before full time with a brilliantly struck short corner by Kim. It was a very hard decision but Sarah for her fab defensive work and some great forward runs was voted MOM. Next week bring on Marlborough for top of the table battle!!!!
