Gutsy effort by all the girls against top team.

Ladies 2 lost 2-1 against Devizes.
A really good game considering they are top of the table and we are second from bottom and we didn't crawl under a rock and shy away either! With Sarah Newman making an appearance in goal, who made some great saves helping us stay in the game, Swindon came close to a point or three! After going two down Swindon soon got one back from great play with Sue Roberts driving into the goal for an easy push for Nicola Wylie. The atmosphere completely changed and Swindon then kept Devizes on the back foot for the majority of the second half. But with not many chances from upfront we were stuck and unable to take advantage of the possession. Everyone put fantastic effort in and could not fault the amount of leg work everyone put in.
Man of the Match - Jo Harding once again she was the heart of the defense and made some great tackles which saved out butts so many times (sarah - "engage!, engage the player Tass!") But a great performance and great communication at the back which was well deserved and probably the most consistent player so far.
Well done girlies and lets hope we get some points next game !!!!
