Good goals, dodgy decisions, unlucky result.

Swindon ladies 3 - 4 city of bath
A very close game between the two sides. Swindon started the game on fire, taking 2 early goals from Sue Roberts with a bit of magic dribbling it in passed the keeper. Then a cracking shot from Kim Taylor saw Swindon take a solid lead...so we thought. City of bath came back fighting quick and due to some unfortunate marking managed to slot 4 quick goals past Swindon. This was extremely unlucky for the ladies but we did lose out concentration and leg work wasn't all there. However we never gave up and Swindon were more determined to hold the line and not let anymore through. From some fab tackles by Chloe Peppiatt and Jo Harding we looked confident again and Charlotte Bell managed to pull another goal back. Unfortunately time was against us and we weren't able to keep piling on the pressure. This is a massive improvement from our previous result against this team and we should look at this as a positive game for us even though we didn't gain any points from it. We haven't been the most attacking team in the league so scoring 3 goals is a great result! It's now looking up for ladies 2's with two close games and are still in the race, it's not over yet !
Man of the match: Chloe Peppiatt for some great tackles and just another fab game (t-shirt needs to be superglued to you!)
Donkey of the day: Lucy Anne Smale for her little melt down at half time.
Although this was close, Umpires were also in the running for some very...interesting decisions!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the support from: Louise Siddorn, Kerry Baker , Eleanor Symons and Sarah Mussard.
