Swindon Vixens v Marlborough

Thanks to Michele for the following match report:

First game for Vixens team a success! Ok so we didn't win but the experience was invaluable.

14 eager individuals, amalgamated from juniors, Back to Hockey and 2nd team players took on Marlborough vixens, in a very evenly contested match. They did really well, especially as some had never played a match before, let alone 11-a-side.

Special mention to Jack Tovey (Jackie!) for being GK for us during play and the opposition on penalty corners!

We hope to challenge North Wilts next and have a return fixture with Marlborough in the New Year.
