Swindon Men's 4th earned an hard fighting point against neighbouring visiting team Chippenham Men's 5th.
Swindon 4th started the game well with equal opportunity to both teams and some quality play by young players Logan, Zak, Shay keeping the opposition defenders on their toes. Later Swindon 4th saw themselves down 0-1 from an counter by the Chippenham team which well executed leaving the defence and goal keeper beaten. Sydney was awarded a green card for stick tackle in the midfield which stopped another Chippenham attach (Something usual to see). Chippenham soon attached again and scored with just the helpless Goalkeeper on his own going down 0-2 just before half time.

Half time motivation talk by Captain Nick and Head Coach Rich Newton boosted the team to change some game plans and keep attacking to get back into the game.
Second half started with Chippenham keeping the ball into their possession taking the lead and things weren't working well for Swindon. Moments later Swindon pumped themselves and tried to gain ball possession and attach again on several occasions but missed scoring opportunity. Sydney came up from defence line to play attacking midfield which saw him take the ball on his own from the 25 yards line tackling the Chippenham defenders and cracking the ball into the back of the goal (hurray) score 1-2. Few minutes later Swindon earned another penalty corner which saw Sam pushing the ball straight to Sydney, who smashed the ball again behind the goal (hurray) score 2 -2. Swindon again missed few more chances to score.

Great effort as a team and equal contribution by the young lads. Swindon at end of match left with 3 players injured.
