Bristol UWE A vs Swindon B

For our first away game of the season, Swindon B XI travelled to Bristol UWE, eager to make amends
after last week’s loss. Alas, it was not to be. Although we made several early pushes into the host’s
circle, we were unable to capitalise and the first half ended with us trailing 0 – 3.
Despite a rousing half-time chat encouraging us to “get back behind the ball”, with no substitutes
available to give weary legs a rest, below par defending in the circle led to an abundance of short
corners going against us.
The end result didn’t do us justice and with a couple of extra players, it would have been a far more
evenly matched affair.
Final score: Swindon 0 – Bristol UWE 6
MOTM: Ed Dunmore put in more than his fair share of hard running and was looking like he might be
sick on the sideline at half time.
