Swindon made the short journey down the A419 to Cirencester.
Swindon took a few minutes to get into the game but once they did they were quickly rewarded with a short corner, too many people to mention who played a part in it, but Lynsey Wall got the final touch, obviously all the set piece practice at training has paid off, and if you could ever re-create that goal it would be impressive.
The second goal also came from a short. The ball came straight out to the left slip who fired it in for Wall to put it across the line.
Cirencester managed to get a ball through to their forwards who immediately capitalised and slotted it home. The half finished at 2 - 1.
Swindon started the second half with some very scrappy play and struggled to pass to an orange shirt.
Swindon's third goal came when Gemma Scrase on the right of the D passed the ball across to Chloe Lewis who changed the angle towards goal and managed to get through a few players, the ball trickled into net 3-1
After a very tardy bit of play in the D Lewis managed to get a shot away from the left and somehow find the back of the net! (It may have touched a defenders stick ?) 4- 1
Once again, Cirencester piled on the pressure and were again rewarded with a goal.
Swindon sealed the win and 3 points when Victoria Stokes put a brilliant ball through to Wall who found herself totally unmarked and 1 on 1 with the keeper, Wall ran at her and dinked it past to score her hatrick. 5 - 2.
