Swindon Ladies 2s V City of Bath

The Ladies 2 travelled away to the City of Bath. The game started very competitively in an evenly matched half. The ball made its way into both Ds with Swindon’s defence remaining strong. Man of the match Sarah Anstey kept us in the game with some incredible saves. The first half finished 0-0. Swindon came out fighting in the second half and made some good opportunities while City of Bath swapped their goalie for an outfield player, although we couldn’t get any goals. On a quick counter attack, City of Bath managed to score a goal, which was followed by two other lucky chances that ended in goals shortly after. However, Swindon kept fighting but City of Bath managed to score a last minute goal that trickled over the line after a save by Sarah.
