Match report by Jim:
Going into the game, Swansea had only conceded 8 goals in 10 games, and Swindon knew they needed to keep it tight in order to stand a chance. Unfortunately, they did not.
Swansea took advantage of a loose pass to make it 1-0, before Swindon levelled following a good run from Dave Miles, who found James Young. His attempt was saved on the line but Tom Wickens batted the ball home to make it 1-1. Swansea scored two more goals with Swindon giving them too much time and space and the half ended with Swindon 3-1 down.
The second half saw Swindon continue to play the ball around nicely against a three quarter press with limited penetration. 3-1 became 5-1 before Swindon finally broke through and managed to pull one back through Thomas Gillingham, who played better than last week (thank God).
Swansea scored two more to confirm the result and the men's 1st XI continue to look for their first win in their new shirts.
James Lewis commented after the game, "I just couldn't get enough of passing to their guys. Thank God for Tom Sewell..."
MOM - Aiden Bramwell, great performance and some great picks.
