Swindon Men's 2s 0 - 4 Keynsham

Swindon knew it would be a tough game traveling to high flyer's Keynsham with a bare11, the game started with Swindon playing the half court press and doing it really well limiting Keynsham to long balls down the flanks which could be easily picked up by Dominic Abbott, Michael Macintyre, Nathan and Doug at the back. Swindon looking to break quickly once winning the turnover had some good chances which included Dom's solo run down the right where he dragged his shot just wide with nobody able to get a slight touch to direct it in. Swindon continued to defend resolutely take it's to halftime at 0-0.

Keynsham came out the blocks flying after half time but Swindon still stood strong until a scramble which hit several feet on both sides but was tucked home for Keynsham and the goal was given. Swindon's best chance then came with some beat play between Kingy and Tim in midfield who released Ben Smith down the right with the goal gaping square - passed the ball to Dan Hindon who was unable to convert with the goalkeeper no where on his reverse stick.

1 quickly became two before some more good breaks for Swindon where the Keynsham centre back controlling the ball on the line with his chest only for a short to be given. Unfortunately Nathan's flick was well saved and Swindon couldn't get on the rebound. Swindon began to tire but still found the energy to make some good breaks but 2 became 3 then 4 late on as Swindon tired.

A brilliant shift by everyone this week. Swindon play South Glos at home next week looking to improve on there solid first half performance.
