Swindon mens 2nds finally produced a complete performance and recorded a solid victory against high flying West Wilts. The pre match team talk focused on some key tactical changes that we felt we needed to apply in order to get something from the game - and for once we actually executed all of the tactics perfectly.

Swindon took control of the game early on, playing a compact game, giving the opposition very little opportunity to play their own game. Swindon took the lead half way through the first half, with a smart short corner finished off by Mark Young. Sagee scored from a flick shortly after a shot was stopped by an opposition foot on the goal line.

Swindon kept it tight in the second half, offering no chances for an increasingly desperate Wilts side. We had several more chances, and Sagee finally put the game to bed with an excellent finish.

Overall an excellent performance. Well done everyone.
