Match report from Ali:
Short on players, something bright in the sky.....no one really knows what is was.
Swindon took an early lead after good build up play lead to Doug MacLeod finding space on the right of the circle and shooting accurately into the bottom left corner.
Continued Swindon pressure failed to produce more chances and as the game progressed Bassett offered more of a threat. Good rearguard action stopped any goals until Adam Silvester text everyone that we were winning and we immediately conceded. A couple of minutes later a second goal went in.....both had pretty clear kicks by Bassett players in the build up. 2-1 down at half time
Second half was started with no subs as Dougie ran off to take his daughter to a party. We were under pressure from the start.....but coped well until about midway through when a well worked team goal put Bassett 3-1 up. After this point the game took a dark turn with green cards shown to both sides.
MOM - Dougie - good goal (our first lead of the season) good all round performance
