Another day and another game against Bath Buccs. This time it was the highly organised mid-table F team brimming full of skilful experience. For Swindon it was another chance to give valuable game time to some of our less experienced players.

The game started well, both teams playing some nice hockey, but it wasn’t long before the Bath team broke the deadlock. However, this was a much more competitive game than the one played less than 24 hours earlier. Swindon had a succession of short corners, but never troubled the opposition keeper.

Bath continued with the fast flowing hockey and scored 4 more goals making it 5-0 at the break.

The second half was very much a repeat of the first with Bath always the better team, but again Swindon weren’t without their chances, forcing a few saves from the keeper. Final score 0-10

Big game next week against ..... Bath Buccs for the third game in a row. This time the G team, third time lucky?
