Switched off Swindon suffer to City.

The last of the long distance games for Swindon this week against City of Bath A. There was a want to get all the points from this game after letting them slip away the last time the two teams met. It wasn't going to be easy though given the fact that they had won their previous match 10-0.

Swindon struck first through Jordan McKenzie doing his usual run down the left wing before banking towards the goal and calmly slotting the ball in the back of the net.

That was about it for Swindon highlights for the game. Swindon errors tainted the rest of the game and City of Bath demonstrated their attacking prowess, striking three times before the half time break.

A harsh team talk at half time was not enough to spark the team into life and it showed. Despite the best efforts of Tom Kerslake who was showing some fine form throughout the game putting together strings of mega saves, it was not enough to stop City of Bath putting passed another four goals.

Disappointing to say the least really. The polar opposite of how we played last week. Peter Gilbert had an absolute blinder at left back. He kept his head in the game from start to finish, pressed hard and confidently took on the opposition. Things need to change for tomorrow's rearranged game against Bath Buccs, which will hopefully happen with a few players returning and a few turning down Wiltshire duties to help!

Pub golf tonight to help forget a torrid performance!
