Ladies 1s travelled to Marlborough for the first friendly of the season.

Swindon settled into the match quickly and dominated against a strong Marlborough side. 20 mins in Adriana Boullosa found Lynsey Wall in the D who hit the ball cleanly first time to make it 1 - 0.

5 minutes into the second half some great link up play saw Rebecca Lightbody (making her debut for L1s) smash the ball into the bottom left corner to make it 2 - 0.

Despite the heat Swindon looked strong and didn't let up on the pressure or the pace. Gemma Scrase passed a lovely ball through to Wall who found the goal to make it 3 - 0.

With 10 minutes to go Marlborough were awarded a short corner, keeper, Lex Hogarth made the initial save and Emily White (also making her debut for L1s today) saved the follow up shot off the line.

Match finished 3 - 0. Great start Ladies!!!
