Swindon secured another convincing West Premier 2A league victory with a 6-2 dismantling of local rivals Chippenham. Swindon's first goal was created by top goal scorer Hannah Lewis who's strong run and pass allowed Vicky Stokes to score from close range. Lewis didn't take long to add to her own season tally by scoring two minutes later with Adriana Boullasa creating the opportunity after a skilful run. Swindon scored a third just before half time with Gemma Scrase passing to Lynsey Wall who smashed her shot past the Chippenham keeper.
The second half stated strongly for Swindon after a well worked penalty corner was calmly finished by Wall for her second goal. Now firmly in control of the match, Swindon continued to press with Adriana Boullasa scoring the goal of the game after a 25 meter run and trademark reverse stick shot secured their fifth goal.
Chippenham scored their first goal from a short corner but an immediate response came from Swindon's captain Vicky Stokes to make the score 6-1. With minutes remaining, Chippenham pressed forward and were rewarded with a second goal to make the final score 6-2.
