Swindon started the game on the back foot against a strong Lansdown side that pressed hard.
It took 10 mins before Swindon started to settle. Chloe Lewis won a free hit, took the ball quickly and drove into the D passing the ball to captain Adriana Boullosa for her to reverse the ball into the net.
Only minutes later Lewis made a clean strike that was saved by the Lansdown keeper but forward Victoria Stokes was there ready to pounce on the ball to make it 2 nil.
This fired up the visitors who once again started to press. Unfortunately Swindon left a Lansdown player free and they were able to capitalise and pull a goal back.
Just before half time Stokes had a shot saved by a foot on the line and we were awarded a penalty stroke. Linda Brouwers stepped up and converted easily ending the half 3 - 1.
Lansdown came out fighting in the second half and once again pressed Swindon hard, this paid off and they were rewarded with a goal, 3 - 2.
This once again fired up the Swindon attack, it wasn't long before Boullosa played a lovely ball in for Lynsey Wall to slot into the net.
Swindon then changed their formation and went back to playing a 4 4 2 to ensure we got the 3 points. Lewis was unlucky not to score when she hit a powerful reverse shot which hit the corner cross bar.
